Effective Test Prep
We offer various programs for ACT or SAT test prep for high school students. A higher score on the ACT could mean more money in scholarships and a brighter future for your student! At Ngenius Tutoring & Test Prep, we have a five-year proven record of success getting students into colleges and receiving more money in scholarships. View our available test prep options below to see what would be the best fit for your student. There are no enrollment or assessment fees, as well as no contract requirement with any of our test prep courses.
This class is a good fit for first-time test takers. Our test prep course introduces students to the concepts and strategies they need to know to increase their scores. Students will have plenty of hands-on experience, including in-class exercises and weekly homework to practice the lessons they just learned. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to at least five full ACT tests. Practice is the best way to improve! Classes are capped at 15 students.
If your student needs a boost before the test date, we also offer emergency prep sessions. In these classes, we cover the "must-know" concepts for each section of the test. This course is designed for students who may not have the time to participate in our traditional course. These are offered on an as-needed basis, so contact the branch director to find out about upcoming offerings.
With this option, each student works individually with one of our instructors. We meet one time each week for an hour and a half. Between sessions, students will get a complete practice test for homework. See our available one-on-one courses below:
- 9 Hours One-On-One ACT or SAT Prep | 6 weeks - This course is designed for students who need more flexibility with scheduling than the class provides. It is for students who wish to improve their test scores but are not pursuing an aggressive score increase.
- 12 Hours One-On-One ACT or SAT Prep | 8 weeks - This provides an extra boost for students looking for a semi-aggressive score improvement for school admission and/or scholarship opportunities.
- 15 Hours One-On-One ACT or SAT Prep | 10 weeks - This plan is recommended for students looking for an aggressive score increase for school admission and scholarship opportunities.
Did you know we provide tutoring assistance for individuals looking to pursue the GED, ASVAB, MCAT, GRE, and LSAT? All are available as one-on-one sessions only and are structured the same as our ACT/SAT sessions. These sessions are 1.5 hours, and the amount of sessions recommended is determined by previous scores and desired scores. Feel free to contact our team directly if you are interested or have any additional questions!
